About Green Mountain

Green Mountain Body-Mind Center embraces the idea that relief from pain and a renewal of joy and curiosity is possible for everyone. Founded in 2003, Green Mountain welcomes the opportunity to work with all types of human issues - from addressing difficulties in standing, sitting or walking, to reawakening creativity in life or art, to recovering from stress, chronic pain or anxiety, to improving sports ability such as running, swimming or snowboarding.

What is Feldenkrais ?

The Feldenkrais Method is a form of mind-body education that uses gentle movement and directed attention to enhance human functioning. The Method helps to relieve or eliminate chronic pain, anxiety and stress, enliven basic functions such as sitting or standing, and improve many other physical and mental skills with a focus on lifelong learning. It can help you discover the assumptions you've made about what is possible in your movement, in your thinking, and ultimately in your self-image.
